How to Send Notifications For Leave Changes Plus Daily and Weekly Summaries

With Flamingo, you can choose a Slack channel that Flamingo will send notifications to.

This is useful for letting your colleagues know about team members who have upcoming leaves and when they are ending their leaves. The notifications are sent at a time of your choosing. This allows you and your team members to stay up to speed on days off and plan accordingly.

You can also send notifications when a leave is approved or canceled. Along with daily and weekly leave summaries.

This can be to a Slack channel you already have set up, or you can set up your own channel in Slack specifically for Flamingo notifications.

Please note: Only owners, admins, and managers can perform this action.

Notifications will only be sent for leave requests taking place in the future. If, for example, you make a leave request for last week, no notification will be sent.
